Download a Fresh NoteSmith 2012 Program File

Right click each file and Save As to freshen your NoteSmith 2010 installation. Alternately, both files are automatically downloaded if you choose File, Online, Freshen from within your NoteSmith program. Windows Vista and Windows7 users first will have to log into their computers as an Administrator (see Windows Help for ways to do this). Save these two files to the NoteSmith settings folder on your hard drive, which should be:

C:\Users\Public\Princeton\NoteSmith2012

NoteSmith 2012 FAQ File (NS12FAQs.pdf)

The FAQ file then can be viewed from the NoteSmith Help menu. The FAQ file can be viewed right now by left clicking the link. If necessary, the Adobe Acrobat Reader is available from Adobe by clicking the icon below.

Users of Windows7-64 bit cannot use the CD to install the NoteSmith PDF Converter. The files necessary are within the zip file below. Directions appear within the file. Click and save the file to this folder, or any one of your choosing, then double click the downloaded file to view the directions:

C:\Users\Public\Princeton\NoteSmith2012

Download a Fresh NoteSmith 2011 Program File

These files are automatically downloaded if you choose File, Online, Freshen from within your NoteSmith program. Windows 7 and Vista users first will have to log into their computers as a Vista Administrator or start the program by right mouse clicking the NoteSmith icon and choosing Run As Administrator.

Alternately, freshen manually from this page. Left click (or right click, the method is Windows-dependent) each file and Save As to freshen your NoteSmith 2011 installation. Save these two files to the NoteSmith settings folder on your hard drive, which should be:

C:\Users\Public\Princeton\NoteSmith2011

NoteSmith 2011 FAQ File (NS11FAQs.pdf)

The FAQ file then can be viewed from the NoteSmith Help menu. The FAQ file can be viewed right now by left clicking the link. If necessary, the Adobe Acrobat Reader is available from Adobe by clicking the icon below.
